Do you have recommendations as to what we should ask for in terms of locations/dates?

--Locations - generally stores within your council/parish area. If there are other councils nearby, and they also solicite at ABC stores, stay away from those closer to them. You could even reach out to them and confirm where they fundraise.
--Dates - keep in mind the dates you are requesting are between January 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025. I don't think there is any magic to picking dates. I'd recommend you don't pick a time when other activities or events are happening, so you don't split your resources.

Should we include multiple of both in order to maximize the likelihood of approval?

--I think you should request times when you think the council can support. I don't think ABC cares how often you request. I'm aware of one council who solicits almost every week, so their list of requests is long.
Will we only be approved for one event?
--No, there is no limit to the number of times you want to solicit that I'm aware of. Case in point, the comment in previous bullet.

Are only Saturdays allowed, or can we work other days?

--ABC doesn't have restrictions on the days or times. The property owner/manager of the strip mall might have restrictions, but request what you want from ABC and deal with the property owner after you've been approved.
Are there only certain hours or a certain number of hours we are allowed to work?

--No, you could request to be there the entire time the store is open; however, you'll learn from experience the best times. For example, if you do a weekday collection it probably works best from 4-8 since there might not be much activity during work hours.
